How to taste Whiskey Cask Strength?

While some cask strength whiskeys can be enjoyed neat, the higher alcohol content can initially mask the flavors and aromas of the whiskey and make it difficult to savor. Adding a few drops of room temperature spring water can open up those aromas and flavors and sweeten the alcohol.
