Collection: Speyside

Possibly Scotland's most famous malt whiskey producing region .

Located in the North-East of Scotland, it has the largest number of distilleries (currently around fifty)

Its plentiful supply of water and good historical transport links ensured its success.

Frequently, Speyside malts are often smooth, refined, sweeter whiskeys with fruity, floral and honey aromas.

Some well-known Speysiders are exclusively aged in Sherry casks which can add dried fruit, tang and nuttiness.

Speyside is technically in the Highlands region and some well-known distilleries like Glenfarclas and The Macallan label their official bottlings as Highland rather than Speysid e!
