Cola Ali was distilled at a famous Islay distillery overlooking the Isle of Jura, much loved by Islay whiskey connoisseurs.

12 Year Old Single Islay Malt finished within the last 16 months in a Pedro Ximenez hogshead first fill. It is the big brother of the Cola Ali 5 (half of the barrel was bottled after 9 months of finishing, and the other half after 7 months).

Tasting notes

Nose : Fruity with plums & blackberries (brambles), peat smoke, ginger and walnut cookies, coffee and dark chocolate.

Taste : Very sweet, caramel, molasses, burnt twigs, iodized and ashy notes.

Diluted nose : Curry powder, molasses caramel, burnt twigs, aromatic herbs, cardamom pods, fenugreek.

Reduced taste : Very sweet with honey, chocolate, caramel, peaty notes, plants, medicinal coffee and wild blackberry.
